What to include
- macOS version
- ZipSmith version and build number if visible
- archive format and approximate file size
- whether the issue happened in the app or a Finder action
- the error message or the step that failed
Important notes
Finder actions depend on macOS extension settings. If the contextual menu is not visible, enable ZipSmith in extension settings and relaunch Finder.
ZipSmith cannot repair every damaged or encrypted archive. Keep the original file before trying another extraction.
