GlucoTrailData Accuracy
GlucoTrail records, organizes, and converts values entered by the user. It does not measure glucose, connect to a meter or sensor, interpret results, or provide medical advice.
- Unit conversion uses the factor 1 mmol/L = 18.0182 mg/dL; the app also keeps the value and unit entered by the user.
- Charts and history are a neutral presentation of manually entered data, without range assessment, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.

How GlucoTrail works
You manually enter a value measured with a separate glucose meter or sensor. GlucoTrail stores it with the date, time, meal context, and an optional note, then presents it in the journal and history chart. After a voluntary connection, it can also save the value, time, and context to Apple Health.
Unit conversion
The app converts mg/dL and mmol/L using the factor 18.0182. It displays mg/dL without decimal places and mmol/L with one decimal place, so a visible converted value may be rounded.
Apple Health and the widget
Every GlucoTrail sample in Apple Health originates from a user's manual entry. The app and widget read only samples marked and created by GlucoTrail; they do not import results from a meter, sensor, or another app. These features provide storage and neutral presentation only.
What the app does not do
GlucoTrail does not measure glucose, connect to a meter or sensor, verify a manual entry, interpret results, diagnose a condition, set target ranges, or calculate insulin doses.
